Take this 2008 Upper Deck SP Authentic card.
I've spent three years heavily collecting Hochevars and never knew this "gold" parallel numbered to /50 existed.
And, just like a modern day explorer, I keep treking into the trading card jungle, hoping to spot, bag, and tag a new species of card.

I love this too! I love that there's a fellow player collector with a blog, because this sort of thing happens all the time. Weird variations that you've never seen pop out of thin air. It's especially fun to find something Beckett didn't even know about!
