Trade Report: A Pile of Rocks from Joe from the D

A few weeks ago, I received an email from Joe from the D.  Joe is a collector who somehow stumbled into my blog (it still surprises me that someone other than my wife or my mom actually reads this thing) and while he doesn't have a blog of his own, he let me know that he had some Royals and Rockies that he wanted to send my way in exchange for some of my game used and autograph cards.

We sorted out the details and a few days later a box of cards arrived in the mail.  I'd never received a box of cards in a trade before, so I was very, very, VERY happy to open it up.

Joe sent so many cards that I feared that my scanner would start smoking if I tried to scan them all, so here is a part one of my loot.  These are the Rockies Joe sent me and I'll show the Royals cards at a later time.

He sent a handful of Dexter Fowler cards, including an XFractor and a black background Topps I didn't already own, and one John Stockton card, which I didn't already have, which is a feat in and of itself considering my Stockton collection is 200-cards strong.  (The bottom three cards are the new additions to my collections.)

Some Tulos:

A page full of Heltons:

A few Hawpes, including a 2008 Topps Trading Card History Blue Refractor, serial numbered 13/200:

Five Jimenez cards and a Friederich:

And three each of CarGo, Francis, and Atkins:

These are just a fraction of the the Rockies that Joe sent my way.

Thanks again Joe!

Sweet cards including a few I had never seen before. It does bug me every time I see that Friedrich with the misspelled name though.

My fave has to be the SP Ubaldo die cut. What year is it?
